South Butler Marvin Stewart, 77, a lifetime resident of South Butler, entered eternity on Friday, September 25, 2015 at Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the South Butler Fire Department, P.O.Box 153, South Butler, NY 13154, Butler United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 75, South Butler, NY 13154 or the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718. The family appreciates your blood donations through the American Red Cross. Family and friends may call on Monday (Sept. 28) from Noon to 3pm and 5 to 8 pm at Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main Street, N. Rose, NY. A funeral service will be held at Butler-Savannah Methodist Church on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Butler-Savannah Cemetery. Marvin was born on September 7, 1938, in Lyons NY, a son to the late Royal and Waneta Sherman Stewart. Marvin was employed by Xerox Corporation for over 30 years. He served his community in the fire department (60 years), ambulance squad (EMT, SEC),the Butler Republican Committee (Chair),Savannah-Butler Cemetery Association, United Methodist Church, Town of Butler Planning Board, and as a Junior Bowling coach. Marvin enjoyed many hobbies with family and friends, including hunting (NWTF), bowling, golf (White Pines CC), fishing, softball, skeet shooting, (Red Creek Conservation Club), flying (Williamson-Sodus Flying Club), theater and music (accordion, Lake Shore Theater, trips to Phantom (Toronto and Branson, MO). Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Rozanne, children; Cory (Elizabeth) Stewart, Randy (Renee) Stewart, Colleen (Mark) Anthony and Ember Hilkert; grandchildren, Melissa (Cory)Johnson, Danielle, Austin, Tyler and Kendra Stewart, Nolan and Erin Anthony, Noah Barnes, Abby and Ella Hilkert; great-granddaughter, Madison Johnson; brther, Ron (Pat) Stewart; brothers-in-law; Richard (Margaret) Hubbard, Don (Linda) Hubbard; many nieces and nephews; close friends, Janet LaGas, Dwight Rasbeck, and Rev.
