Ivan L. Parsons

Red Creek Ivan L. Parsons, 90, a resident of Blossom View Nursing Home in Sodus since 2008, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Family and friends may call Thursday (Nov. 12) from 11 am to 1 pm at Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, 6816 Church St., Red Creek, where a funeral service will follow at 1 pm. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Red Creek. Ivan was born December 19, 1924 in Wolcott, a son to the late Ray and Caroline Allen Parsons. He was an Air Force veteran from 1948 until 1952, remaining in the reserves until 1971. Ivan was a local farmer and resident all of his life. Contributions may be made to Red Creek-Westbury United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or to Fairmount Cemetery in Red Creek. Predeceased by 2 brothers, Allen and Merle.
