Dorothy and her husband Homer owned and operated the Colonial Inn in Meridian, NY for many years and had many lifelong friends in the Cato community. She was the heart and wit of her lively family, a great cook, avid gardener, bird-watcher, golfer and bowler. She loved to shoot pool, do crossword puzzles and read. She loved the big-band music of the 40’s and she and Homer were fabulous dancers. She was intrigued by politics and voted in nearly every election in her lifetime. We all loved her for her humor, strength and acute intelligence. SHE WAS OUR QUEEN.
