Frind, 93, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Lyons.In keeping with Helen’s wishes there will be no prior calling hours, a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in South Lyons Cemetery.For those wishing memorial contributions in Helen’s memory may be made to the Lyons Public Library, 122 Broad St., Lyons, NY 14489Helen was born on September 5, 1921 in Lyons, a daughter to the late Arthur and Mabel Stell Spies. Helen worked in the cafeteria at Lyons Central School, and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.Predeceased by her husband Ralph “Bud” W. Frind in 2008, 2 brothers, Harold and Elmer Spies and sister, Millie.. She is survived by her son, James W. (Mary Jane) Frind of Lyons; daughter, Linda Frind of Canandaigua; grandson, Jay W. Frind of Newark; brother, Ray Spies of Lyons; nieces, Pam Perry of Rush and Shirlene Alvaro of Lyons.
