Marlene DeWispelaere, 77, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 while in Florida after a brief illness.
Family and friends may call Saturday (Dec. 5) from 11 am to 1 pm at Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main St., North Rose, where a funeral service will follow at 1 pm. Burial will be in Huron Evergreen Cemetery.
For those wishing, memorials may be made to Lakeshore Ambulance or to Wolcott Fire Department.
Marlene was born March 6, 1938 in Oswego, a daughter to the late Calvin I. and Dorothy Barnhill Hall. She was employed by Farnsworth & Son Furniture for 18 years, and retired from Barbara Jean’s Furniture, both in North Rose. She enjoyed spending the last 3 winters in Florida with her family.
Predeceased by her husband, John, Sr. in 1999, grandsons, John J. DeWispelaere III and Jason DeWispelaere, brother, Calvin Hall and son-in-law, Ricky Miller.
Survived by her son, John J. Jr. (Carol) of Wayland; 4 daughters, Aimee Kay DeWispelaere of Middlesex, Trish (Mark) Hollenbeck of Branchport, Doran Miller of Sodus and Marlene (Paul) Wolf of North Dakota; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Kenneth Hall of Florida and Garry (Virginia) Hall of Wolcott; several nieces and nephews.
