Mary J. Raplee, 79, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 after an extended illness.
A memorial service will be held Saturday (January 2) 10 am at Sodus Point United Methodist Church. Family burial will be in Sodus Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, National Kidney Foundation or to Sodus Point United Methodist Church in her memory.
Mary was born June 8, 1936 in Sodus, a daughter to the late Richard and Edna Storms Boyington. She retired from Myers Community Hospital in food service.
Predeceased by her husband Robert in 1999, and 2 sisters, Pauline Hartman and Shirley Lyke.
She is survived by 6 children, Deborah (Richard) Wagner of Lyons, Robert (Bonnie) Raplee of Bloomfield, Daniel (Janice) Raplee of Sodus, John (Gloria) Raplee of Montour Falls, Robin Jayne of Penn Yan and Timothy Raplee (Paula Farris) of Sodus Point, whom she made her home; very special granddaughter, Stephanie Raplee; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Sylvia (Paul) Miller of Newark; very special friend, Robert Slusser of Sodus Point.
