Bernard H. Schram, 84, of New Pre-Emption Rd., passed away, Saturday, February 13, 2016.
Family and friends may call Thursday (Feb 18) from 4 to7 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St. Lyons. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday (Feb. 19) 10am, at St. Joseph the Worker Parish in St. Michaels’ Church, Phelps St., Lyons. Burial will be in South Lyons Cemetery.
For those wishing, memorials may be made to St. Michael’s Church in Lyons.
Bernard was born April 29, 1931 in Clifton Springs, a son to late William and Minnie Finewood Schram. He was a life-time farmer of the area, drove bus for Lyons Central School for 30 years and also drove bus for Arcadia Transportation for 11 years. After retirement, Bernard enjoyed his antique tractors and driving around the countryside.
He was predeceased by his wife Marilyn in 2007 and a brother, Robert. Survived by 5 children, Lucie (Ron) LaFleur, Chris (Ed) Gansz, Bernardine Thorn, Jeffery (Patricia) Schram and Eric (Darlene) Schram; 8 grandchildren, Aimee, Matthew, Jason, Ryan, Joshua, Danielle, Marybeth and Timothy; 7 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, Jacob, Rachel, Henry, Emma and Carson; sister, Doris (Charles) DeWaele; sister-in-law, Diane Schram; family and close friends.
