Robert A. Podaski, 65, of Old State Route 31, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at Pines of Peace in Ontario.

Bob was born November 14, 1950 in Bronx, NY, a son to Joseph and Anna McDonough Podaski. He lived most of his younger years in Teaneck, NJ, where he enlisted in the Marines during Vietnam. Locally, he did service work for Pal Oil in Palmyra and was well known for raising and racing Homing Pigeons in the Syracuse and Rochester areas.
He is survived by his wife Berdene; 3 children, Kristen (Lenny) Vandenhandel of PA, Sherri (Dale) Chaapel of PA and Scott Johns of Lyons; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Maureen Rowling.
Arrangements are by Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, Lyons.
