Jack Russell Granger

Jack passed away peacefully with his wife, Nina of 62 years, by his side. Jack’s wish was no calling hours or funeral but a get-together of family and friends to celebrate his life. Please join us at the Wolcott VFW on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 1:00 pm. to remember Jack.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Newark-Wayne Hospital where he received caring support from the staff.
Jack was born April 27, 1932 in Rochester, a son to the late Russell and Flossie Mansfield Granger. Jack and Nina were lifetime fruit farmers, but his greatest joy was his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
Jack is survived by his wife, Nina; children, Debora (Stephen) Johns, Beverly Dutcher, Sharon (Stephen) Shutts, Russell (Rebecca) Granger; 9 grandchildren, Angel Kersten, Jackalyn (Thomas) Cole, Jessica (Todd) Shoemaker, Benjamin (Andrea) Johns, Paige Johns, Kendra (Chris) Cagle, Jack Shear Granger, and Alex and Jesse Hayes; 13 great-grandchildren, Hunter, McKeena, Jordon and Olivia Kersten, Addalyn Stitely, Maddox Shoemaker, Emerson, Chandler and Granger Cole, Madison, Mason and Wyatt Johns, and Lily Cagle.
Jack was predeceased by his parents Russell and Flossie; brothers, Peter and William.
