V. Johanne (Peck) West of N. Huron St., passed away unexpectedly on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016.
Family and friends may call on Friday (April 15) from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main St., N. Rose. Funeral services will be held Saturday (April 16) 11 am at North Rose United Methodist Church, 5050 N. Main St., N. Rose. Burial will be private in Rose Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the North Rose United Methodist Church, 5050 N. Main St., N. Rose, NY 14516 or to the North Rose Fire Department, 5070 N. Huron St. N. Rose, NY 14516.
Johanne was born on February 27,1934 in North Rose, a daughter to the late Vivian L. and Delores T. Wegman-Haus Peck. She retired from Agway in Wolcott. Johanne loved gardening, yard sales, golfing and watching all kinds of sporting events. Most important to her was spending time with her family and volunteering at Rose Library, Wesley Thrift Shop, Forever Young, Group of Wolcott, Rose Loan Closet, Monday Morning Breakfast Club, Thursday Golf Group and Friday Night Girls Club.
Predeceased by her husband, Joseph H. West, she is survived by her children, Tamara Virts, Kathleen (James) Cahoon, Patricia (David) Miller and Joseph W. (Mary) West; very special grandchildren, Cassidy, Kelsey, Mallory, Jessi, Hillary, Brittany, Kendall, Haley, Kiley, Shaylee and Owen; 13 cherished great-grandchildren; sister, Karen (Ed) Thiemann; brothers, Gregory (Lori) Peck and William (Barbara) Peck; many nieces, nephews, close friends, awesome neighbors and a life time friend Pat DeAngelis.
