Louis P. Sehm, 88, of 9577 Catchpole Rd, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, (April 9,2016).
Friends and family may call on Thursday (April 14) 11am to 1pm at the Farnsworth - Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main St., North Rose, where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Rose Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Wolcott American Legion, 10675 Ridge Road, Wolcott, NY 14590 in Louis’s memory.
Louis was born on May 27,1927 in Penfield, a son to the late Frederick and Lilian Embury Sehm. He retired from Gleason Works in Rochester after 38 years of employment. He was a member of the American Legion Post 881,
North Wolcott Masonic Lodge and the North Rose Fire Department. His hobbies were hunting, golfing, fishing and gardening. He loved to give away his home grown vegetables to people, but most of all he loved being with his family.
Predeceased by his wife, Carol Sehm and daughter, Kathy.
Louis is survived by his children, Mary Kellet, Steven Sehm, Douglas
(Tammy) Sehm, Christine (David) Jones, Michael Sehm and Susan Sehm;
grandchildren, Adrian, Molly, Dylan, Michael, Steven, Jackson, Owen and
LJ; one great-grandchild, Atlee; nieces and nephews.
