Joan M. Smolinski, 75, of Armstrong Rd., passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Rochester surrounded by her family, after an extended illness.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday (Apr. 19) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main St., North Rose, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday (Apr. 20) at 11 am.  Burial will be in Huron Evergreen Cemetery.

Joan was born February 14, 1941, a daughter to Clarence and Ruth Bennett Larkin.  She retired from North Rose-Wolcott School District as a bus driver. 

Predeceased by 3 sons, Dave, Barry and Kevin.  She is survived by her loving husband Peter of 55 years; son, Dennis Smolinski of Rose; daughters, Cindy (Robert) Goble of Williamson and Lisa Warren of Newark (fiance’, Dave Fera of Lyons); grandchildren, Crystal Ballengee of WV, Darren Smolinski of Clyde, Heather Gowan of Newark, Bobby Goble of Fairville, Amber Smolinski of Fairville, Morgan Rudoi of Waterloo, Mikala Smolinski of Rose, Conner Warren of Newark, Cameren Warren and Caden Warren of Newark; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Emma and Maggie Ballengee, Emily Smolinski and Layla Ameele; and daughter-in-law, Christine Smolinski of Clyde.
