Dorothy E. “Dot” Halstead, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the age of 85, with her family by her side.

Family and friends may call Tuesday (June 28) from 4 pm to 7 pm at Farnsworth - Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main St., North Rose, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday (June 29) at 11am. Burial will be in Huron Evergreen Cemetery.

Contributions may be made in Dorothy’s memory to Clifton Springs Hospital, Unit 3300, 2 Coulter Road, Clifton Springs, NY 14432.

Dorothy was born on November 25,1930 in Marcellus, a daughter to the late Thomas P. and Mary L. Cotter Lennon. Her family was most important to her.

Predeceased by her husband Clayton in 2010, she is survived by her children; Linda (Ralph) D’Amato of Lyons, Deborah (Michael) Thomas of Rochester; son, William (Rhonda) Halstead of Wolcott; grandchildren, Jennifer (Andrew) D’Amato-Anderson of OR and Matthew (Amy Giacobello) of GA; brothers-in-law, George (Nancy) Halstead of Conquest and Richard (Lorene) Halstead of OR, a niece and a great nephew.
