Edward L. Noody, 68, of Route 14, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 21, 2016 with his family by his side.

Family and friends may call Saturday (Aug. 27) from noon to 2 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons.  A reception to celebrate Ed’s life will be held directly after the calling hours at the Lyons VFW Post on Route 14 South of Lyons until 5 pm.  Private burial will be in South Lyons Cemetery.

For those wishing, memorials may be made to Alton Fire Department in his memory.

Ed was born August 14, 1948 in Lyons, a son to the late Lyle and Betty DeWolf Noody.  He worked at Cahoon Farms in Wolcott.  He was a member of the Alton Fire Department and Timeless Classic Car Club.  Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching his grandchildren race, which they called Papa’s Place Racing.

He is survived by his wife Judy of 48 years; son, Rick (Holly) of Lyons; grandchildren, Jacob and Jordan; 2 sisters, Barbara (Robert) Jordan of Lyons and Donna Chittenden (John Wasson) of Sodus Point; several nieces and nephews.
