William David “Billy” DeWaters, 61, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, September 12, 2016.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Billy’s life on Saturday (Sept. 17) 12pm at Foreman Park, 4507 Lake Rd., Williamson, NY. 14589. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Contributions may be made to Golisano Children’s Hospital,University of Rochester Medical Center, 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642.
Billy was born on February 17, 1955, in Rochester, a son to Carlton and Margaret Stack DeWaters. He was a member of Union # 46 and employed for 25 years as a sheet metal mechanic for ANCOMA, Inc. in Rochester. Billy was a huge Buffalo Bills fan, but most important to him was his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Caroline Finn DeWaters of 39 years; his 4 children, Christopher (Katrina), Eric (Karie), Carrie (Eric) and Ryan; 7 grandchildren, Brianne, Kelsey, Noah, Liam, Finn, Rory and Tatum; his parents, Carl and Peggy DeWaters; a brother, Tom (Beth) DeWaters; sisters, Nancy (Tom) McGrath, Diane Wardwell, Michelle (Patrick) Finn, and Kim (Keith) Hayes; father and mother-inlaw, William (Ellen) Finn and their 9 children; many nieces and
nephews.
Billy is preceded in death by his sister, Susan and a brother-in-law,Bill.
