Glen R. Mull, 89, a resident of Wayne County Nursing Home for the last 5 years, passed away October 9, 2016. The family wishes to thank the staff there for his care and making him comfortable in his final days.
There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at a later time at the convenience of the family.
If you have a fond memory of Glen, please feel free to send a note to Betty at the Wayne County Nursing Home, 1529 Nye Road, Lyons, NY 14489.
Glen was born September 1, 1927. He was just a young boy when he entered the Navy as a Seabee, serving his country in WWII. He worked on the railroad in Sodus Point and spent years serving the community of Wolcott as a mechanic and proprietor of both the Atlantic and Esso stations. Glen also served as a firefighter and later Chief of the Wolcott Fire Department. He was the Town Court Justice for many years in the town of Huron. His whole life was spent serving others and providing for the family he loved. He loved the game of golf and played the game as good as the pros. His family believes he is playing again with his twin brother Paul and his golf hero Arnie Palmer.
Glen is survived and sorely missed by his wife of 67 years, Betty, son Jeff (Rebecca) Mull, daughters Robin (Fred) Romano, Laurie (Frank) Petrosino, Lisa Galvin, 8 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Glen was loved by many, but especially his family.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Wolcott Fire Department or Newark-Wayne Community Hospital in Glen's memory.
Arrangements have been made with Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, North Rose, NY.
