Anthony P. Calabrese, 88, of Catherine St., passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017.
Family and friends may call Wednesday (June 14) from 4 to 7 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday (June 15) 11:30 am at St. Michael’s Church, Lyons. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Anthony was born November 25, 1928 in Geneva, a son to the late Michael and Catherine Gerace Calabrese, one of 15 children. He was a veteran of the Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from Newark Developmental Center (FLDDSO) in Newark as a maintenance supervisor. He was an amazing man and an extraordinary carpenter.
Predeceased by his loving wife Olivia “Dolly” in 2013 and beloved son, Mark in 2015, 4 sisters, Viola, Edith, Mary and Theresa, 10 brothers, Nicholas, Ralph, William, Carmen, Michael, Donald, James, Samuel, Frank and Joseph.
He is survived by his daughter, Diane (Pete) Kitchen; daughter-in-law, Carol Calabrese; 4 grandchildren, Grant (Leslie) Kitchen, Kira (Craig) Wadsley, Kortni (Isidro) Calabrese, Morgen (Chad) Calabrese; 7 great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Brayden, Austin, Blake, Gabriel, Colin and Nova Rose; extended family, Nicole and John Moore and Christopher and Krista Carmestro; and several nieces and nephews who he adored. He will be missed by many and loved by all.
