Richard D. Groleau, Sr., “Frenchie”, 71, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 after many years with Auto Immune Disease.
No services are planned at Richard’s request.
Richard was born August 21, 1946 in Caughnawaga, Quebec, Canada, a son to the late Edmond and Evelyn Martin Groleau. He lived in the Malone area as a logger, moved to Clyde, and worked at LSW Industries, worked several years as a carpenter, then worked at Parker-Hannifin in Clyde before becoming sick.
He leaves behind his loving wife Deborah; four sons and one daughter, Richard, Jr. (Alicia) Groleau, Tracy (Toshia) Camp, Laga (Joy) Groleau, Lucien (Destiny) Groleau and Abigail (Bob) Seymour; 13 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; brother, Verney (Corleen) Groleau; sister, Pauline (Claude) LaFleur; sister-in-law, Evelyn Bishop, Ethel (Larry) Hall, Sandra Francis and Joan MacEdwards; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by several brother and sisters.
