Theresa Angeline Mastracy, 95, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ unexpectedly at Newark Hospital on January 31, 2018, surrounded by loved ones.  She was born in Clyde, NY to Minnie (Mamie) (Salerno) Fischette and William Fischette on June 14, 1922.  She was the wife of Domnick Mastracy.

A longtime resident of Lyons, she is survived by 2 daughters and 2 sons - Sherry (Dave) Piersma, Peter (Jan) Mastracy, Kathy (Scott) Beaver, and Steve (Mary) Mastracy, along with grandchildren Brent (Tracy) Karweck, Kerri (Adam) Ward, Beth (Jim) May, PJ (Rachel) Mastracy, Kelli (George) Tilton, Domnick Beaver, Stephanie (Chris) Clack, and Joe (Cassandra) Mastracy, and 19 great-grandchildren.  She also leaves siblings William (Mary Ann) Fischette and Donna Mitchell.

Theresa was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and was deeply loved by her family.  It was her greatest joy to be surrounded by her family and feeding them.  She was known for her love of cooking, famous for her pizza and roasted peppers.  

For many years, Theresa was a home care provider for the State of NY, and up to her death provided respite for other home care providers.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Domnick (2004).  She will be sorely missed by family and friends.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at New Hope Bible Church this summer, where she was an active member and loved by her church family.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in Theresa's memory be made to New Hope Bible Church in Newark, NY.
