Eleanor M. Putman, 88, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018.

Family and friends may call Tuesday (Mar. 27) from 1 to 4 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons, where a funeral service will follow at 4 pm.  Burial will be in York Settlement Cemetery.

For those wishing, memorials may be made to Wayne County Nursing Home, 1529 Nye Rd., Lyons, NY  14489 in her memory.

Eleanor was born February 21, 1930 in Rose, a daughter to Harry B. and Cornelia Vandermille Smith.  She retired from Wayne County Nursing Home after many years of employment.

She is survived by 7 children, Bernard (Deborah) Putman of Sodus, Elaine (Scott) Williams of Ontario, Yvonne (Don) VanDenBussche of Lyons, Steven (Virginia) Putman of Lyons, David (Carol) Putman of Lyons, Susan (Joe) Pezullo of Rochester and Thelma Orta of Oswego; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson; nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her first husband, Charles Putman, second husband, George (Pat) Briggs, third husband, Verne Wetmore, sister, Eloise Crego, and brothers, George, Harold, Irving and Robert Smith; and foster daughter, Rocky Harris.
