Mary J. VerHeecke, 84, of Limekiln Rd. passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018.

Family and friends may call Monday (May 7) from 4 to 7 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday (May 8) at 11 am.  Burial will be in Baptist Rural Cemetery, Sodus.

Contributions in Mary’s memory may be directed to Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1000 Main St. Newark, NY 14513.

Mary was born June 1, 1933 in Sodus, a daughter to the late Lloyd and Hester McDonald Pentycofe.  She retired from Parker-Hannifin in Lyons.  She enjoyed camping and traveling.

She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1974, daughter, Deborah Beesley, and 3 brothers, Lloyd, Floyd and Robert Pentycofe.  Survived by 2 sons, Paul, Jr. (Bonnie) of Waterloo and Bruce (Christine) of Lyons; 3 grandchildren, Joshua and Jeremy Beesley and Zachary VerHeecke; 2 great-granddaughters, Haylee and Addisyn Beesley; 3 brothers, Irving Pentycofe of Lyons, Lester (Carole) Pentycofe of South Sodus and Lewis Pentycofe of Wolcott; 2 sisters, Louise Pentycofe of South Sodus and Juanita (Bruce) VerValin of Webster; son-in-law, Gordon Beesley of South Sodus; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
