Donald C. Stevens, 92, of Fifth Rd., passed away at home on Thursday, January 24, 2019.

Family services will be private with burial at Rose Cemetery.

Don was born August 13, 1926 in Lyons, a son to the late Stanley A. and Cynthia Tompkins Stevens.  He was veteran of the Army during WWII, having served at The Battle of The Bulge, European African Middle Eastern Theater and was a recipient of a Purple Heart and 2 Bronze Stars.  Don was a local businessman owning area gas stations, real estate, retired from the Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES System and later served as Town of Rose Justice for many years.

He was predeceased by his wife Doris in 2006.  Survived by 4 daughters, Kay Eileen (James Arnold) Hartsen of Williamson, Ann Cheryl Stevens of Palmyra, Joy Elaine (James) Lytle of Oswego and Jan Marie (Michael) McDorman of Wolcott; 7 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
